I've been using these to watch tv at night and game with on my PS5. These sound great; they get plenty loud and have decent bass. They sound better than my platinum wireless headset I bought for the PS4 at $160 and my pulse headset for my PS5 at $99. They are also really comfortable wearing for longer periods of time and the noise cancellation is pretty decent, too.
I ordered these SOUNDCORE LIFE Q20+ headphones on Monday 12/27/21 here on Amazon and received them today Thursday 12/30/21. They were so simple to pair with my Samsung Galaxy smartphone. I have been listening to them for a few hours now and they sound fantastic. I have seen some reviews of people saying that they sound bad and that they hear a constant popping noise. I'm happy to report there is absolutely no such issue with mine. Make sure you download the SOUNDCORE application from your app store because it works so well with these headphones. I honestly don't think that you can find a better set of headphones for $69.99 anywhere. Happy New Year!!!
Be forewarned - the ANC feature CANNOT be used if you use a wired connection, so called AUX mode. The product description touts the noise cancelling efficacy for airplane noise, but bear in mind that only applies if you use bluetooth. Most airlines support bluetooth but NOT for their in-flight entertainment; you must use a pin plug to use your Q20+ when watching an inflight movie & that shuts off the ANC feature. Also happens when plugging into many electronic pianos. Tech support informed me that it was clearly stated in the Q20+ manual. Took me 20 minutes of hunting through the soundcore web site to find the Q20+ specific manual. The loss of the ANC feature in AUX mode is conveniently ignored in their product description; also omitted from the startup guide that is packaged with the headphones.
Tech support informed me that what I want is available in models Q20 and Q35. I am returning the Q20+ because they will not be noise-cancelling for 99% of my headphone needs.
One con. Not good in windy weather.
