  • How do I wear Liberty 3 Pro?
    1) Liberty 3 Pro comes with 4 sizes of ear wings and ear tips. The sizes are: XS(0), S(1), M(2), L(3), and the earbuds come with M(2) ear wings already attached.
    2) Select and install the ear tips before using for the first time. We recommend starting with size M(2).
    3) Put Liberty 3 Pro in your ears and twist to lock into place. Make sure the ear wings are wedged into the ridge of your ear.
    4) Try on different sizes of ear tips and ear wings until you find a combination which delivers a tight seal and snug fit. You may want to use different sizes of ear tips and ear wings in your left and right ears.
    5) If you're still not sure about the fit, take the Fit Test in the Soundcore app.
  • Can I use Liberty 3 Pro without ear wings?
We recommend using ear wings to get the best support and most stable fit. Try using the XS(0) size if the other sizes are all too large.
  • What is the black oval on Liberty 3 Pro's earbuds?
They are the IR-sensors which sense if the earbuds are currently being worn. If the ear wings are installed incorrectly, the sensor will be covered and it will affect the accuracy of wearing detection. Make sure the ear wings are installed correctly and the surface of the IR-sensors is kept clean.
  • How does the automatic play/pause feature work?
    - Remove one bud to auto pause your media, replace the bud to resume playback.
    - Remove two buds to stop your media, and resume playback on your phone manually.
    - Auto play/pause may not be compatible with some 3rd party apps.
    - You can use the Soundcore app to disable the auto play/pause feature.

    - The earbuds will turn on automatically when you open the charging case.
    - Or long press the touch pad to turn on the earbuds.
    Power off:
    - Put the earbuds back into the charging case and close the cover to turn off the earbuds.
    - The earbuds will also turn off automatically when the earbuds are outside the case, not being worn, and have been disconnected from your device for 30 minutes. (The auto power off time can be customized in the Soundcore app.)
    - When you are wearing the earbuds, they will only turn off when the battery runs out.
  • Can I use the left/right earbud on its own?
Yes, just take one earbud out from the charging case to use.
If you are using two earbuds, you can put the earbud you don't want to use in the charging case and continue using the other one on its own.
Note: If you are wearing two earbuds, listening in ANC mode, and you return one earbud to the charging case, ANC will switch to Normal mode automatically because it is not supported. If you wear the second earbud, Normal mode will switch back to ANC automatically.
  • How do I clean Liberty 3 Pro?
    - To clean the contact pins on both the earbuds and charging case, unplug the charging case from the power, use a cotton swab or cloth dipped in rubbing alcohol, or an alcohol wipe.
    - To clean the filter of the earbuds, remove the ear tips first and use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to clean.
  • How can I adjust Liberty 3 Pro's volume via the earbuds?
    1) Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play to download the Soundcore app.
    2) Pair your device with Liberty 3 Pro.

Pulsing White: The earbuds are connected via Bluetooth and the pins are connected with the charging case.
Flashing White: The earbuds are in pairing mode.
Rapid Flash 3 Times: The earbuds are resetting.
No Light: The earbuds have not connected correctly with the charging case, or the case has run out of battery.
  • How do I switch between ANC and Transparency modes?
Long press the left/right earbud to switch between ANC and Transparency modes.
To customize any touch control, download the Soundcore app and go to "Controls".
  • How do I set up HearID ANC?
Take the HearID ANC test in the app. It needs to be conducted in a noisy environment to ensure the best results.
    Tips:
    - Do not play music while taking the test as it will affect the accuracy of the result.
    - Do not swallow or talk during the test.
    - External noises need to of a stable level because large fluctuations in noise will affect the accuracy of the results.

Go to "Controls" in the Soundcore app, and choose a custom command for voice assistants.
  • What should I do if I have any problems using the touch controls?
    1) Make sure you are wearing the earbuds correctly.
    2) Try single press, double press, long-press, etc. to see if any of the commands work.
    3) Reset the earbuds. See "How do I reset Liberty 3 Pro ?" under the Bluetooth tab.
  • How should I look after Liberty 3 Pro?
    1) Use the earbuds regularly to avoid over-discharge which can harm the lifespan of the earbuds' battery. We recommend using Liberty 3 Pro at least once a month.
    2) Charge the earbuds after you use them. In order to improve the battery's lifespan, do not always wait until there's 20% power remaining or less to charge them.
    3) If you are storing the charging case, make sure there are at least 2 lights lit up on the case to ensure there is enough power.
    4) Open the charging case's lid at least once a month to ensure the earbuds start charging.
    5) Regularly clean the charging pins on the earbuds and charging case.
    6) Keep the ear tips clean.
    7) If it comes into contact with liquid, use a hairdryer on the 'cool' setting to dry the case.
  • How do I enable multipoint connection on Liberty 3 Pro?
Open the charging case lid so the earbuds enter pairing mode. Pair the earbuds with the first device, wear the earbuds, and then use one of the following methods to pair the second device:
Method 1: Long press both touch pads for 5 seconds until you hear a tone to indicate the earbuds are in pairing mode. Search for Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro in the second device's Bluetooth menu and pair.
Method 2: Use the Bluetooth manager in the Soundcore app to pair a second device or connect to paired device. Notes:
    1) To switch between media, you should stop the playing media on the first device, then start playing on the second.
    2) The media you're currently listening to will automatically stop when an incoming call is detected. 3) You can turn off the multipoint connection via the Soundcore app.
    4) LDAC mode is disabled when using multipoint connection because of the Bluetooth transmission limit.
  • How do I reset Liberty 3 Pro?
    1) Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the cover open.
    2) Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators inside flash 3 times quickly. When the LEDs start flashing fast, it confirms that the reset was successful and the earbuds have entered pairing mode.
  • What should I do if any of the following problems occur? 1. Only one earbud has sound. 2. One side does not pair with the other side or my device. 3. No music plays after connecting with my device. 4. Cannot pair or reconnect with my device.
Put the earbuds into the charging case and close for 10 seconds. Then open the case to try pairing again.
If that doesn't work, try the following:
    1) Forget the Bluetooth pairing record on your device if you have previously connected the earbuds.
    2) Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the cover open.
    3) Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators inside flash 3 times quickly.
When they start flashing fast, it confirms that the reset was successful and the earbuds have entered pairing mode.
    4) Turn off your device's Bluetooth and turn it on again to pair with Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro.
  • What should I do if Liberty 3 Pro disconnects or the sound is choppy?
Some environments (such as airports, offices, crowded public spaces etc.) can interfere with your Bluetooth connection. To optimize your Bluetooth connection:
    1) Ensure your phone is on the right hand side of your body.
    2) Download videos and songs instead of streaming.
    3) If you have an Android phone, temporarily disable unnecessary app traffic settings on your phone.
    Or you can try:
    - Resetting the earbuds. See "How do I reset Liberty 3 Pro ?"
    - Try a different device if possible.
  • What should I do if any of the following problems occur? 1) The earbuds don’t recharge in the charging case. 2) The earbuds keep connecting to the device even after being put back in the charging case with the cover closed. 3) The earbuds don't turn on when taken out of the charging case.
    1) Confirm the charging case has power left (press the button on the case and see if a LED is illuminated).
    2) Clean the charging pins with a dry cloth and an alcohol-based disinfectant to ensure all charging contact pins on the earbuds and charging case are completely clean and dry of sweat and water. Then put the earbuds into the case correctly. When you put the earbuds back into the charging case, the lights inside the case will flash to indicate both earbuds are charging normally.
    3) Please make sure the earwings are installed well(Align the oval hole on the ear wing with the wearing detection sensor on the earbud.) so they didn't affect the charging.
    4) If they still do not turn on, put the earbuds back into the charging case and close the case for 6 seconds, and then open the case again.
  • How long does it take to fully charge the earbuds?
    About 2 hours.
  • How long does it take to fully charge the charging case?

Noise Cancelling Mode: Up to 6 hours on a single charge/24 hours with charging case.
Transparency Mode: Up to 6 hours on a single charge/24 hours with charging case.
Call: Up to 4.5 hours on a single charge/18 hours with charging case.
Data based on internal lab testing. Results may vary under different conditions.
  • Does the case support wireless charging?
Yes, place the case on the wireless charging pad and make sure it's closed and centrally aligned. If it starts charging you will see the LEDs blinking.
  • What audio codecs do Liberty 3 Pro support?
    SBC, AAC, and LDAC.
  • How do I enable LDAC?
    1) Download and update your Soundcore app to latest version.
    2. Change the Sound Mode to "Preferred Audio Quality" and follow the instructions to update to the latest firmware version. The LDAC codec is now enabled and will work with your LDAC-compatible device. Note: The LDAC codec processing will increase the power consumption and decrease the overall playtime. Only devices with Android 8.0 or later support LDAC.
  • How do I enable 3D Surround Sound?
Use the Soundcore app to activate 3D Surround Sound. Go to the "Sound Mode" section to switch to 3D Surround Sound.
Note: 3D Surround Sound processes audio data in real time, increasing the power consumption and decreasing the overall playtime.
  • What should I do if Liberty 3 Pro's noise cancellation performance does not meet my expectations?
Here are some tips for enhancing the sound quality and noise cancellation:
    1) Try other sizes of ear tips to ensure you're using one that fits well and creates a tight seal.
    2) Make sure you're wearing the earbuds in the correct position so that they create a tight seal. To check if you're wearing the earbuds in the perfect position, take the Fit Test on the Soundcore app.
    3) Take the HearID ANC test to personalize the noise cancelling effect.
Note: In a noisy environment and at high volume, you may feel that the noise cancellation performance is not as strong.
    4) Try different ANC modes to see which one suits your environment best.
  • What should I do if I encounter wind noise while outdoors?
Use Wind Reduction mode, which can be found in the ANC section of the Soundcore app. Wind Reduction mode is ideal for environments with constantly high levels of wind, such as cycling, workouts or other outdoor activities. When using this mode, the earbuds will detect wind noise automatically and when it reaches the threshold, Wind Reduction mode starts to work.

2 months later still worth 5 stars!!

A couple of updates and 2 months later I still think these are worth 5 stars!!! I'm no audiophile in any way shape or form just your regular consumer that has struggled to find decent earbuds. I've tried the galaxy buds live, bose qc earbuds, sennheiser momentum 2, and liberty 2 pros but was never fully happy because there was always something missing. These earbuds have solved all my problems. Call quality is excellent I've taken phone calls at the noisy grocery store while wearing a mask and had no complaints, I've been able to wear these earbuds comfortably for hours, I listen to these earbuds at half volume because they can get loud. I like that I can customize the touch controls easily from the app. Transperancy mode has improved a lot since these launched and while the anc could be better for the price point I can't complain especially when you add music to the mix it really cancels out noise. The touch controls can be sensitive and were a bit tricky at first but now that I've developed the muscle memory I have no complaints. Overall these aren't "perfect" but for me they sure are. I highly recommend them and if you don't like them simply return them soundcore has an amazing customer service team.

Dominic
Some incredible buds for an average consumer.

SOME QUICK BACKGROUND ON WHY I FEEL QUALIFIED TO WRITE THIS:
So, I consider myself to be a casual audiophile. I'm a DJ for hire, I make music casually, and I critically listen to music and engage with music as a hobby. Now, this having been said, I am also just an everyday student, consumer, and technology user. I am not a tuning, audio, or music expert. What follows is my own opinion of this product represented as accurately as possible.

THE REVIEW:

OVERALL (ISH):
The package as a whole is incredible for the price but it's got a few kinks that can be easily worked out. I got these buds about 4 months ago and I have been really enjoying them.
SOUND: They sound absolutely excellent, and while the marketing stuff they throw at people to make it seem more impressive is frustrating, the balanced armature drivers (for those who don't know they are specialized drivers that are commonly used in hearing aids and specialized audio equipment and also in some earbuds and cover high-end sound very well, but lack in low frequency majorly) sound incredibly sharp out of the box, almost uncomfortably sharp, but after using the app (more about this later) to eq them, they sound much better. The dynamic drivers in here are pretty standard and are used a lot in the industry but mainly it comes down to tuning, which is decent but isn't amazing without, again, our friend the EQ. The sound quality once tuned is very good, although compared to some higher-end consumer headphones I own, and some more audiophile-grade headphones I own (note these are EARBUDS, NOT, headphones, which I am comparing them to in this example) they don't have as great of a soundstage, and the imaging is so-so. They tend to still be a bit 'sparkly' in the high end, but don't fail to provide for the bass heads consumers out there (A guilty pleasure for myself LOL, although this having been said I still retain a higher appreciation for truly balanced sound.) They can get far too loud for my 15-year-old ears, but your mileage may vary. They sound better than 170 USD, but they ARNT comparable to a good set of audiophile cans by any means, but for TW earbuds, they "go nuts" especially as they walk a very tight line in this price range.
FIT AND PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: They have a surprisingly small case for their size and capability, rivaling Apple's mainstream offerings, but fall just a bit larger than the AirPods pro case. They can feel bulky in the ear at times, but the fit is great (coming from a person who actually has alarmingly small ears and ear canals), but I'm told by others that they are awesome for people with larger ears too. They look pretty nice, but if you care about the name brand status thing, you will find yourself noticing occasional looks from people as they examine the generic-looking logo on the case, etc. If your like me, and don't care, this is a nonissue. Lastly, the case's swivel/sliding motion is very appealing and as an ADHD-ridden person, this definitely is fun to mess about with (lmao) but it can become (only barely noticeable) flimsy-er after a few months of this kind of random use. At worst, occasionally, the "top" sliding part of the case, can hit the earbuds in the bottom part as you try to close it, but mostly this is a nonissue. They don't feel STURDY, but they are good enough. They'll take a drop or two without batting an eye, are pretty average in terms of how many scratches and cosmetic damage they amass after normal use, but again, for me, minor stuff.
BATTERY: The battery lasts forever, I use them between 1-4 hours a day, and I haven't charged them in a month. The case is at 30% and the earbuds are at 100% (I MOSTLY use them on "normal" without ANC on, but not on transparency at just above 50% volume.) so I would say they MORE than overperform, and permanently changed my expectation and standards of what's possible for battery-powered consumer electronics. Absolutely 'nutty' battery performance.
THE APP+COMPANY: So, I own the "Motion+" Bluetooth speaker from them, which is a total damn powerhouse and I have many a time excitedly, claimed was "the best purchase of my entire life" and its no f**king lie. These things are no diffrent. Soundcore's service has been tested by myself, addressing a lot of small, common issues that consumers tend to face, and they mostly addressed it quickly and professionally. Although in one case with the speaker they could have done a bit better (essentially the aux cable that shipped with them caused the right channel to not work as it was defective, and I used it on aux and told them from a consumer standpoint "the right doesn't work" and they sorta missed the mark, thinking it was a manufacturing issue rather than a simple cable.) BUT, other than this, they are excellent and have offered in almost every time I've contacted to just simply have it sent to be repaired and sent back to me at no extra charge (NOTE THEY SAID REPAIR NOT REPLACE!!! YES! IF THIS ISNT A LIE, THEY ARENT WASTIEING ...

Better than airpods maybe better than the pros in my opinion when listening to music

HR
Great sound overall, but what about battery life. I conducted an actual battery test

When I first fully charged these earbuds and listened to my music until the batteries died they fell far short of 8 hrs. In addition the right earbud quit way before the left (about 15% less). This was of concern so I decided to conduct an actual battery test. I realize sound is very subjective and people listen to different content at different volume levels etc. But I wanted to determine the baseline maximum battery life at how I would be using them and I was concerned about the difference between the right and left earbud.

My Ideal Listening and battery conditions :

> Quite room, no TV/radio or conversation
> Fully Transparent Mode / ANC off - Wind noise reduction off - Wearing detection off- LDAC off / Standard Bit rate streaming on Spotify
> Moderate volume level - There are no physical indicators of volume level so I reduced the volume until I could no longer hear it then increased it to a "moderate level". This was 7 steps up from the silent position.

Results : 5 hrs 47 min total play time

These conditions with all features turned off should produce the best/ideal battery life for listening to music in a quiet room. Using ANC and other features will certainly have its affects.

I performed this test 3 times and each time the right earbud battery got better until on the last test both batteries died at the same time within 2 minutes of each other. So, if you are having the same issue you might want to recycle your batteries until dead a few times and see if they will stabilize.

These are the best sounding earbuds I have but they were barely average out of the box. But, after downloading the Soundcore app and running the "HearID" Test they became amazing. This test is supposed to be run in a noisy environment for ANC reasons. I ran it in a very quiet place and it seemed to indicate a loss of hearing in the midrange at different levels in each ear as you can see in the photo of the graph. In any event it produced amazing results and I could not get anything better by manually adjusting the equalizer settings in the app.
The earbuds are finicky about charging when you put them back in the case. I had 2 cases when one would not charge even when properly seated. In each case a little cleaning with alcohol on a paper towel fixed the problem. Must be a reason that one of the first items in the instructions is to clean the charging contacts. When the earbuds are in your ear the charging contacts are close or against your ear and can pick up moisture or other contamination. Standard lithium batteries run at a little under 4v so even gold plated contacts with any contaminates can be a problem.
By all means download the "Soundcore" app and explore all the features and adjustments for this product. I have included photos of the various screens in the app. These screen shots show the exact settings that were used for the battery test and that produced the best sound for me in a quiet room. Obviously, Your preferences and other conditions will be different.

Great sound buy sub-par noise cancellation

Sounds quality is great as long as you set aside the time to play with the custom EQ. The presets all sounded a little dull or unbalanced so with a little customization these really shined. No matter what ear tips or settings, I could not get the noise cancelation to completely work. It lowered outside noise but didn't cancel it out. Maybe a future firmware update will fix this. The features alone were the reason for my purchase. I use these at work for calls and the ability to hear outside noise is a must. The transparency feature on these make it sound like I'm not even wearing them. Most others I've tried have a lower volume and I still had to remove one to talk to someone. Overall a great purchase, just kind of disappointing about the lack of true noise cancellation.
