the price and built in sub sound quality is great, especially for the price.
I love this sound bar the sound quality is great for a low end sound bar. However the remote works when it feels like it and there is always a lag with the sound when pausing or starting a show. It's really frustrating having to go back 10 seconds to hear the dialogue that you missed. Other then that it works great. Atmos sounds good in a small living room and the volume is more then enough for a small room. I had to contact the company because of the sound bar dropping in and out with certain shows. They responded almost immediately and gave me things to try to fix the problem. They also sent me a firmware update which I installed and that fixed the problem. Great service team.
All in all a great buy for the price. I'd give it five stars if the lag and the remote were fixed.
This soundbar kicks and is a breeze to set up, plus even comes with an HDMI cable. Connect to your phone via Bluetooth in a snap for music apps. Good bass, excellent surround sound but a bit muffled for lower quality recordings. For movies, it is a theater like experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat! Audiophiles, you may want to spend a bit more...
I tell you it's like sound is coming from all over the room.
I hooked it up with 65 inch 4K Samsung TV and Sony Region Free UBP-X800M2 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player UHD Multi Region Blu-ray DVD, Region Free Player using recommended high speed HDMI cables. It took me a while to hook it up correctly, because I wanted to use ARC options for both, TV and DVD player. The sound is great, the subwoofers are in the bar. If you want to hear a demo, find one on the Internet as Dolby Atmos Demo, just download it to your smartphone and play it via the blue tooth connection, or find it on TV on you tube. There are plenty of them available. I used one about 7 and a half minutes long. It is very impressive and you can understand why you have bought this sound bar. That demo is just little more than one month old. Dolby Atmos was used for the first time by Hollywood only in 2012. Switching between TV and streaming is automatic when TV option is selected. When you use DVD, you have to make sure that you are in HDMI option. You have to switch it back to TV option with the remote or directly on the bar . What I do not like about it is that the indicators are on the top of the bar and you have to get up from your sofa to see them and make sure you are in the proper option. No big deal for me ,however, maybe you should know.
