Pro Earbuds for only $130?? - Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro
The Anker Liberty Air 2 Pro's sound quality is comparable to the AirPod Pro, in my opinion. The bass is better, but I think overall the sound is a little less crisp. Neither have terrific sound quality, but good enough. The Liberty Air 2 Pro fits better in my ears than the AirPod Pro and I like the matte plastic on the Anker's case and earbuds better than Apple's, because they're easier to grip. I can't tell you how many times I've almost dropped an AirPod Pro earbud trying to remove it from the case, thanks to its glossy and slippery plastic.
Noise cancellation is about as good as Apple's too. Most of the time, "normal" mode blocks out a lot of sound, since I get a good seal. When I use the active noise cancellation, it completely silences the sound of landscaping equipment outside my home. Another feature I like is transparency mode, for when I don't want to be snuck up on, whether I'm sitting at my desk or out for a walk. Calls with the Liberty Air 2 Pro have been fine. I love that I can charge the earbuds wirelessly, like the AirPod Pro, or use USB-C, which is a lot more common now.
I originally bought the AirPod Pro when it didn't have as many competitors. I wanted it for better call quality and for when I traveled, rather than carrying bulky, over-the-ear headphones. I love my Bose QuietComfort 35 IIs, but they still take up a lot more space in my bag than the AirPod Pros. If the Anker Liberty Air 2 Pros were around at the time, I may have opted to get those instead and saved a lot of money. If ultimate sound quality is what you're after, I think there are a few that are considered a lot better than the AirPod Pros. I think Sennheiser and Sony are a couple. However, if you want the best bang for your buck, it's going to be hard to beat the Anker Liberty Air 2 Pro.
Noise canceling is no joke. Work perfect
and were easy to pair with my iPad. I’ve taken the ear test and selected my noise cancelling preference using the Soundcore app. The sound quality is great and the earbuds are easy to use. There are excellent video demonstrations of these earbuds on YouTube. My only problem is getting them to stay in, but I have nine sets of ear tips to experiment with. I’m very happy with them, and even managed to get them on sale. I highly recommend them.
Only negative I have found, is the fit isn't what I expected. I haven't found the right ear cups to make the fit solid, yet not hurt, and none have stayed in my ear while doing activities. I expected this from an ear bud such as Air Pods, but the in ear buds I did not.
Otherwise, sound has been great, noise canceling top notch and buds are well made!
More than met my expectations! Great value for the money. Sound is good, noise cancelling is good, ear comfort and weight outstanding. Always used air pods before! Not anymore.
