A fair pair of buds.

Got my pair during after watching many YouTube reviews. I also have the Q35s so I am familiar with the brands pros & cons. Soundcore has done a great job supplying all YouTubers out there with a pair but most of them just praise them a bit more than they should.

As far as controls that (almost) no-one seems to bother, there is not even an option to customise the call experience/buttons behaviour during calls. Only this is a deal breaker as one of the pros of these earbuds is the microphone quality, so you get them for the calls. You cant set a button to mute mic or hold active call. The add-on of press and hold would solve these issues with the proper implementation on these features on the app & firmware.
Please fix this UX issue.

Sound quality is OK. I would say that I prefer them over the AirPods Pro2, but still my Jabra 75t sound (much) better than both of them. Bass is there, but it's not deep or loud enough not only compared to the Q35s that literally sake your ears, but also compared to t75s it's just not there. Mids and highs sound good, the sound is balanced and rich with a touch of bass but wearing them after wearing the Jabras for a few songs, they just sound bad, even after hours of EQing them... The separation might be a bit better depending on the genre you listen to but still jabras just sound better. To put it simple, all bass-heads would prefer 75t over this pair, for casual listening during calls they perform more than enough.

I tried to love the spatial audio feature. Some times the effect is good and some depth and extra bass is present but most of the times it just lowers the overall sound quality especially at higher volume., That's not the case with AirPods Pro 2 that spatial audio makes a huge difference for the better on most cases. I found it nice while connected to the TV to test Dolby Atmos.

ANC is good in almost all conditions. Very good during flights, good for distant and constant noises, but not effective at a crowded coffeeshop. Voices just cant be fully muted with any ANC. Transparency not on par with high end earbuds like AirPods Pro/Pro 2.

The have a fair price/quality ratio but its not what most of YouTubers present. Most impressive feature is the mic quality. It is really good & coupled with iPhone's voice isolation mode you can walk on a busy street on NYC with workers, people and cars all around and no-one will probably notice you are not calling them from your office, its that good.

Case is a true jem and Wireless charging is a big plus at this price range. Glossy inside is bad and so is the white led for the battery. The bar should just change colour to indicate the battery level Green-Orange-Red.

Fit and comfort is impressively good! One day I realised I had them on them "all day" because I got a battery low voice but for those that wear earrings be aware that they will hit the buds during walking and it's annoying.

Connectivity is good but for me it has been a bit hit of miss. Still trying to figure it out if switching from Macbook to an iPhone call works. Sometimes during calls they just switch to MacBook output even if nothing is playing and once they switched to iPhone speaker even if I selected them as output. I had to disconnect them from MacBook to make the call.. I'll have to test this more to be sure.

The lack of customising the call experience & use press and hold to adjust the volume (could be fixed over a firmware update) is a big NO for me. If I knew it I would probably not buy them as this ruins their best feature (mic quality) and makes hard to control everything (play/pause/skip track-previous track/ volume up -down/ and on-transparency/ voice assistant) without using my phone/watch so that's bad for a new pair of buds.

Hope my thoughts and review helps! :)

PS: Please soundcore add press & hold as a control option & in call controls customisation.

Jump up and get down, these stay in the ears and sound amazing

It is extremely rare for me to give a gushing review of a product (or of anything really). I am by no means an audiophile, sound is sound the way I looked at it. I have a pair of functional Bluetooth earbuds that I used from time to time, and they worked just fine for my needs. However, I was absolutely blown away by the sound quality of these earbuds as compared to my previous set.

Pairing them to my phone could not possibly have been easier. It took less than 5 seconds. The sound quality is very impressive. They are very good at blocking out other sounds in the room even when they're not at a high volume, which make them perfect for bringing to the gym or to a poker table. They are very comfortable in my ears, and they don't fall out even when I shake my head or jump up and down. They charge up very quickly and have excellent battery life. The case and packaging are top notch too.

If you use earbuds often and currently have a cheaper set, I recommend splurging on these. It's worth it to spend a little extra on something you use often, and these are an amazing quality for the money.

Gym rats to working class

By far, these are the best headphones I’ve ever had. I’ve always been partial to Beats by Dre, but the soundcore wireless headphones are above and beyond when it comes to quality/sound. The packaging was beautiful. The headphones come with three other options to choose for sizing. You also have the ability to download the soundcore app and adjust each headphone according to your preference. They also have options for various sound effects and you can also track your workouts. The noise cancellation is beyond any other headphone. Once place in your ear any outside noise is completely gone or very very mild. They cancel out all noises on the airplane and inside the gym. The charge is outstanding. Each earbud can charge separately or together in their case, which charges both ear buds. No matter your movement, the headphones do not fall out of place or even move remotely. Great for workouts and top tier if you are a runner. They work outstandingly while lifting and I will never use another brand unless it’s soundcore. Thank you for such an outstanding quality product.

Good Earbuds for the price.

Pros:
- Very good sound quality, potent bass and bright detail
- Tons of customizations, adjustable EQ in app
- Killer call quality
- Handy heart rate tracker
- Earbuds are comfortable to wear
- Allows for seamless multi-device switching and connectivity

Cons:
- Heavily reliant on the app for health insights
- Custom HearID is not the most reliable
- No find my earbuds feature

Quality sound at an affordable price. With easy connectivity, a comfortable design, and heart rate tracking, these earbuds are just different enough to be interesting.

Given the thoughtful design of the earbuds and the case, the exceptional microphone quality, and the fair price (listed at $149.99 at the time of this review), I can’t think of any earbuds that offer this unique combination of features.

Liberty 4 may not be game-changing, but they also won't disappoint.

I hope you find this review helpful.

Are the liberty 4s worth $150?

Eh...

I want to say yes if money isn't an option, but if that's the case your can get better ear buds...
For budget buds? Maybe not worth $150.

Here's what I liked and disliked

1. The case is innovative and honestly pretty awesome. Slides open and shut, nice strong magnets snapping it shut. The magnets holding the earbuds in are also strong, making it super easy to put the earbuds back. They don't fall out either, look at my video.

2. The sound quality is great. My wife lost her airpods pro. These sounds just as good/nearly as good to her and me.

3. The heart rate monitor feature!
WHAT?
It actually works. I compared it to my reliable Garmin forerunner 245 watch and it was within a few beats of it, and actually responded quicker when I tried to get my heart rate over 100. I have a picture showing the app vs my watch.

4. ANC works. Not the best but it's decent honestly.

Ok now some cons.

1. The right earbud has a static buzz noise constantly. You only really hear it at low volume but come on, this shouldn't even happen on earbuds that cost this much.

2. They stay in your ear pretty well and are light, but they'll come out every now and then if you're jumping around or running.

Conclusion

I like these earbuds a lot, I just wish they'd stay in my ears a little better and not have that static buzz. The features are great and the case is a good leap forward.
