I just purchased you they came in yesterday and so far I'm loving him the idea of the dongle was great I like the way you can change the colors through the application that's a plus for me.
Battery life is awesome love it.
Sound quality is amazing
I totally meets my expectations thank you Soundcore.
Where i can buy additional usb c dongle, so i don’t have to plug/unplug usb c dongle on my console.
Work very well but not really worth the price in my opinion. If you really want to be in depth with your be game, these are for you!
Just warning you guys .. the mic on the dongle is absolutely awful. Straight up trash. These are meta approved for the quest 3... But how can it be... With a mic this bad. My friends in game were immediately surprised with how awful I sounded when I put on the earbuds ... I had to remove them immediately because no one could hear me well enough. I sounded grainy and far away. And the worst thing... I could tolerate that, If... I could just disable the dongle mic, but nope... There is no way to disable it. Just awful. Beware.
After researching quality ear buds to use with an Asus ROG Ally and Steamdeck, I decided to take a chance on these ear buds. All the reviews I could find spoke favorably of the power pass through, which ultimately is what led me to purchase these. I found the sound quality to be within my expectations for ear buds, and they are comfortable to wear. I am not within the typical demographic for RGB everything, but the app made it very easy to turn that feature off. The packaging is substantially larger than I expected, and about double the volume of a set of apple airpods with wireless charging, which was disappointing but not unreasonably so.
Whats likely to lead to a return for these buds has to do with a poor representation of the power pass through capability of the dongle. Both of the devices I intended to use it with, are able to empty their batteries within an hour or two, so being able to supply 30-60w of power through the sole port for power delivery is vital! The only specification I could find for the dongle, is it requires a minimum of 9v at 2amps which is 18 watts. This might work to keep the steamdeck going, or at least extend its battery to 3 hrs and beyond, however it is not enough to run the Ally on performance or turbo modes without quickly depleting battery. If a high power delivery dongle was available for a reasonable price, I may reconsider. Based upon what I am seeing thus far, these just failed to meet my expectations which could have been tempered with better documentation.
