I recently purchased, as a gift chosen by me for me, from my wife for Christmas this year, I had originally reserved the early bird coupon for them when they were released but ended up not having the money then. So I waited till Christmas, got them on a great sale for $59.99 $20 off retail and actually had them about a week as the wife let me have them early because she knew I was excited to get them being the best quality and highest priced earbuds I’ve had in my life so far. The sound quality, is fantastic, the bass with the graphene drivers is phenomenal, the noise canceling is great and even better and the one of the biggest reasons I chose them is they have a transparency mode, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out via using the Soundcore app with them, there are numerous modes of transparency that focus on either voice, overall surroundings and the noise canceling is awesome as well as you have 3 modes there indoor, outdoor and transport (basically driving or riding in a vehicle. So, best earbuds I’ve ever owned, check! Personally I rank these in performance to AirPods version 2&3 with all rhe available modes of transparency and noise cancellation and works just as well as Apple’s and a hell of a lot more cost effective, way better fitting and looking than AirPods too having 5 color options. Navy blue was my obvious choice as it’s mostly rhe color of my uniform and I also wear navy and black off duty as well. And yet another reason I chose and wanted earbuds with a transparency function is I could FINALLY, use them at work even when on calls taking care of patients I can leave them in ear at the least with no music even, and full transparency
Mode I can actually hear people talking etc better than with no earbuds in at all, it’s like having slightly amplified hearing and I think reason for that at least for me is I do have a slight hearing loss in both ears from 30 years of siren use at work and not using any type of ear protection with the exception of one place I worked we had closed communication headsets with noise protection as any ambulance service should, but that service was only one or two places here in Western PA I know of. Anyway back to the more relevant stuff like how Fantastic these earbuds are and even at full retail of 79.99 they are worth their weight in gold. I can’t speak highly enough of them. And I also can’t wait to invest in an even better set of Soundcore earbuds. I’ve been using Soundcore, Anker, Eufy products for a number of years and basically have become almost exclusive user of only their products when buying the types of electronic products of each individual division of the conglomerate of companies making up Anker. I do have some really really poor news about the earbuds, no there’s absolutely nothing I can even try to complain about and be petty, my disappointment came from somewhere I never expected in the manner it’s occurred. So as I said these were an early received Christmas gift, and I had been using them at work as I said and if no one had figured out I work as a career emergency paramedic here in the Pittsburgh metro area and surrounding communities. Anyway like any other day or shift as usual, just the other day as I’ve unfortunately not had the earbuds long a couple weeks at best now. I was taking care of a particularly uncooperative intoxicated male on that shift the other night, had taken my earbuds out, put them in their case to charge as I got the “low battery voiceover notification”as we were headed out to go pick this patient up in the alley behind a local bar. I had tucked the case and earbuds in the front hand warmer pocket of my uniform hoodie not having a second thought as that’s what I always do when I have them out. Apparently when I hadn’t realized it, this upstanding member of society I had the pleasure of (insert any given sarcasm here) caring for or at least making a valid effort to take proper care of him regardless of his every effort to impede me doing so, he managed to pick my hoodie pocket of my earbuds and a single $5 bill I had in there with them. And it took some investigation to find out, the unnamed intoxicated male with no photo ID and absolutely refused every which way to provide us or the hospital any “real actual” information, so now finding out the nurse I turned the patient over to witnesses the patient using the exact earbuds with case I showed the hospital staff a photo of my missing earbuds I hoped that I had dropped them and not believing until otherwise proven wrong I hoped I’d unknowingly left them at the ED somewhere
Instead of a patient no one knew, and had no way of even contacting, had gotten away with my earbuds and surely a missing $5 as well. So now I guess I’ll be purchasing another set of the same or saving a little more for an upgrade. But regardless great work again guys you guys rock and make some truly incredible electronics! Thank you again for doing a stellar job at what you all do everyday!
Bought these with the 25% off discount from soundcore.
Fantastic earbuds, sound is great and with the app there's plenty of customization.
Thought I wouldnt like stem style but they fit easily and are lightweight, stay in place solidly.
No lag watching Netflix, YouTube, and video calls.
Call quality is very good also, no complaints on the other end.
Great job soundcore.
As usual anker/soundcore delivers a premium feel and sound for an affordable price. Temper expectations though if you are expecting ANC and ambient awareness features on par with airpods pro or Sony wh1000xm4. The ANC and ambient awareness are in fact good and improved over the life p2 but you do sacrifice the natural sound of the audio but this depends on whether you are listening to an audiobook/podcast vs music. In my mind the ANC and ambient awareness hits way above its class at this price point. To get the most out of the features you will need to use the EQ app but this is normal because most of the leg work is done through software and leverages modern smartphones processing power. The case is compact, wireless charging, charges quickly. The buds themselves fit great even for someone with large ears like me and the tips aren't half bad but I usually upgrade all of my ear tips with higher quality silicone ones but I could see myself using these without sacrificing comfort. Audio without the ANC activated is pretty good, slightly warm but doesn't lose clarity on the mids and highs, lows are punchy but not heavy which is something that depends on the listeners preference. I used these all day at work and enjoyed my audiobooks and podcast as usual but maintained my ability to speak and hear without quickly trying to pause my media. I was even able to hear equipment alarms from several rooms away. I highly recommend these for anyone who wants quality but isn't ready to make a $250 investment into a pair of earbuds, I also recommend the soundcore liberty air 2 pros. But those are slightly more expensive than the p3s
