1.IPX Rating:The IPX rating is a code that indicates how well a product is protected against water and other liquids. The higher the number, the better the protection.
2. Driver size: The size of a speaker's driver is directly related to the quality of sound it produces. A larger driver means the better sound quality
3. Other features: Look for other features in a waterproof speaker including Bluetooth connectivity,sound quality and long battery life.

When it comes to waterproofing, IPX7 and IP67 are two of the most common ratings you'll see, the difference between these two ratings is as follow:
IPX7 means it is only waterproof: the X means that it hasn't been tested for dust resistance, and the 7 means that it can withstand being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.
IP67 is slightly different, which means it is dustproof and waterproof: the 6 means that it is completely dustproof, and the 7 means that it can withstand being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.
If you're looking for a waterproof device, then either standard will be fine. However, if you need a waterproof device that can also withstand dust, then choose IPX67.
