So I'm now an earbud fanatic and connoisseur. I've spent some serious cash buying and testing these products, and specifically OPEN EAR designs. For everyday wear, and my interaction with my environment no matter where, I find having in ear buds seriously limits my abilities during the day, the most serious being situational awareness. But this review is not about that. It's about THIS PRODUCT. There are some excellent options out there for open ear products and top of my list was the Shokz OpenFit 2. Then I found the Bose Open Ears. The over the ear products are good, BUT if you are using glasses, or have long hair, there are some issues and you end up sometimes fiddling with them a bit too much. The clip ons, like earrings, are in my opinion the WAY TO GO. Truly an all day comfort situation. I loved the Bose product however the technology is lacking, and I've got 3 pairs!! Battery life falls way short of acceptable, and the mic/voice assistant/voice calls functionality is a bit glitchy. There definitely seems to be a delay, and I have confirmed that on ALL 3 that I own. It's workable, as the sound signature and quality is stunning for these tiny open ears, but then I ordered the SOUNDCORES. Comfort wise I would give them 4 stars, but that's compared to the Bose. Just seem to clip on a bit tighter. Probably just my personal preference. However when it comes to battery life..OMG. Perfection. True ALL DAY battery. I haven't run out yet (3-4 hours tops on the Bose). I purchased extra pair to have a backup. When out an about, streets, car, etc. the volume is more that adequate - 5 stars, v. the Bose that even at full volume falls way short. These are my go to everyday ears now. And as footnote - I have the Soundcore A20 Sleep buds. 100% winner v. ANYTHING out there, including the overpriced Ozlo's which have IDENTICAL sound quality for twice the price!
